This LTER Remote Sensing spatial raster dataset consists of Landsat Multi-Spectral Scanner (MSS) image data collected in 1979 over the island of Moorea and Tahiti. These are reference data, from the USGS EROS archive, not data generated by MCR LTER.

This product was created by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) and contains Landsat data files in Geographic Tagged Image-File Format (GeoTIFF).
